Value Locked is an indicator to evaluate scaling solutions' adoption by calculating the total value (USD) of all ETH and ERC-20 tokens locked in the corresponding escrow contracts. The main types of scaling solutions are bridges to other L1/sidechains, Plasma, Validium, optimistic, and ZK rollups.
